1) It’s a small world. Went to the bank to withdraw $$ through a teller. The teller said “I know you from somewhere. I know where. I graduated from Adult Ed in 2014. I remember your jokes”
2) Lonliest Guy in the World? Canada Post employee in Square One. He thanked me for coming in to give him something to do.
3) University book that I kept waaaaay tooooo long because it had a “smart” title: The Theory of Interest. (PS…it wasn’t really)
4) “Linsanity” will take over Toronto. Jack Armstrong is VERY excitable – love that in a broadcaster.
5) Adult Ed students were invited to participate in a #justask project through the Board. It is SO exciting to be able to create meaningful and lasting change for our school community.
6) Did I mention that Jack Armstrong is VERY excitable?
7) Expanded an experiment that was inspired by the book “The World Needs More Love Letters” by Hannah Brencher. It will be interesting to see if I notice any type of results over the next several months.
8) Valentine’s Day – anyone in school in the 80’s or earlier knows to not call say “Happy VD” – totally different meaning.
