5 Things

1) 9-1-1 Response Model

A division of Ringling Brothers has won the contract to build the NEW 9-1-1 Response Vehicle! Cars will be able to hold and equip: 1 mental health worker 1 police officer 1 skilled negotiator and 26 MPPs…um, I mean clowns.

2) Team Names

Here are some suggestions for sports teams grappling with what to name themselves.

WTF?!? – Washington Team of Football

EdmonNOT the E-Word

Cleveland Meridians or Cleveland Euclidians

Chicago Quack Hawks or Chicago Jack Hawks

Kansas City Beliefs

Atlanta Raves

4) What Am I Missing?

I had a nap yesterday and didn’t pay attention to the news for like 12 minutes. I think I missed someting important.

  • Rumour is that we will be going back to school 100% back to normal.
  • As of July 24, Gyms in the GTA can’t open – but phys ed classes are expected to resume in 5 weeks?
  • On July 24, people in the GTA can’t eat in restaurants, but cafeterias are expected to run in 5 weeks?
  • There’s no extra money for safe re-opening of schools, but $12 billion in capital grants?
  • And Directors of Education no longer need to be teachers? And this fight racism?
  • And this if part of the COVID-19 Economic Recovery Act?

Maybe I dreamed this…

5) COVID Expense Analysis

fitness expense = decrease
clothing expense = decrease
nice pen expense = decrease

book expense = increase
food expense = increase
wine expense = increase

Most notably, my personal hygiene expenses are down.
However, I was just reminded that the need for personal hygiene has not decreased.
Oh. Good point. I’m going to hop in the shower now.
