Did you know that there is a rare Sherlock Holmes story, totally focussed on botany. Right at the end, Watson came over and asked Holmes what he was planting. “It’s a lemon tree, my dear Watson”.
Why is it that the Scots picked a weed as their National emblem….is it because they keep showing up where they aren’t wanted?
