Happy Punny Sunday

In an effort to drive up the price for his chickens, a farmer pitted two competitors against each other for the sale.
He made an arrangement to spend his extra earnings with a bookie on a racehorse – Steeltoe Runner was a guaranteed winner.
The bookie was stopping by the next morning to collect the funds for the bet.
As the farmer went to the field to collect his chickens, he smiled to himself as he did a mental count of them and tallied all of the money he would win.
But before his eyes, coyotes entered the field and wiped out his entire flock as they grazed.

The moral is don’t count your chickens before they come home to roost.
